Miku Hatsune Mikumo #4 Romeo and Cinderella Ver.

Miku Hatsune comes in many different incarnations, today I bring you the sexy Romeo and Cinderella version.

This pretty lady rests on her (plastic) glass slipper at just under four inches tall, and four and a half inches wide.

As a slight twist for a Miku figure, her hair hangs loosely behind her, instead of swept up in her famous twin tails. Another little difference is her hair color. Instead of her trademark teal color, here we have a light mint green. The sculpt is a little chunky, and has a couple of unsightly seems.

The real killer however is the paint here. It almost looks as if too much color was applied, causing chunky spots. It kind of gives the impression that she hasn’t been washing her hair. Not sexy Miku.

Her face looks nice, at the very least it looks much better than her hair. Her cheeks look a little chubby, but I think this just exemplifies the fact that she is about to bite into a juicy apple. Though not as vibrant as traditional Miku’s , this version’s green eyes are very pretty. Overall I think her face looks a little lethargic. Maybe its just me.

Her apple has an awful seem line, and appears a bit large. This is a very big apple. It does look like an apple though, so I guess it gets the job done.

Miku’s nails are painted a mint green to match her hair. The nail polish is a little bit sloppy, and her fingers are fairly undefined, and chunky.

One of the things I had initially really liked about this figure was her frilly cushion. Don’t get me wrong, I do still like it. There is a little problem though. Right on the front of the figure, where her arm curls around the pillow someone forgot to finish painting the ruffle….

Her lingerie is probably the best part of this one. Her little pink tank top is sprinkled with red polka dots, as are her matching panties.

The garments are also trimmed with purple frills that match the pillow. Miku has a nice round little backside. It’s almost heart shaped!

Miku’s legs are nice, and shapely. They would be perfect if not for the very obvious seem lines. I wish they were more visible in the photos.

Her feet are alright. Her toes are very well detailed, but the edges of her feet are completely flat. They have an almost sharp edge. How odd is that? The edges are sharp, but her arches are clearly there…

The rose near her knee, just slides into a small crevice under her sheet. The flower itself is quite pretty. The leaves look nice. Just don’t let it get lost, since it is unattached.

The sheet is draped lazily over the slipper. There is a slightly pink tint, adding a bit more realism. I think it would have been a shame, had they given her a drab white sheet.

The purple slipper is a nice, and original touch. I really think this makes this figure stand out. The under side of the shoe shows the title of the figure, much like the other Mikumos prior.

The concept for her is very unque, and I feel it’s a shame she didn’t turn out to well. Out of the four figures in the Mikumo series to date, this one is easily the worst quality wise.

Sculpt: 7/10

Pose: 10/10

Paint: 7/10

Packaging: 5/10

Overall Enjoyment: 6/10

to be honest, i think what you got there is a bootleg. and it’s a pretty bootleg to me.

I am positive that she is indeed an authentic figure, as she was pre-ordered from an authentic Japanese store. Amiami is not a known seller of boots. Her quality is certainly lacking in some areas though….

hmmm… i am not so sure. cause when i saw the photo of it’s release in neko magic. and also in tompop. there are a lot of differences. here, take a look~ http://www.tomopop.com/cinderella-and-romeo-miku-hatsune-is-a-figure-of-beauty-23184.phtml sometimes, i see bootlegs that are pretty Class A type, very close to the original. as i saw it on tompop, i see differences.

        – details on the eyes
-sheer blush on the cheek (not so visible but you can still see it a bit)
        -yellow/orange gradient on the apple
        – black frills are painted really well and clean.
-head is a bit nearer to the apple.

Kaiyodo figures are always magnificent and clean. even if they are in small size.
so yeah. that is what i noticed.

That link is for the pre order. It shows what the prototype looks like. The final product differs greatly from the prototype. Again this one was pre ordered from Amiami, and is authentic. You can view actual user pics here, as well as read what other people say about her. http://myfigurecollection.net/item/78862

I noticed that too. It’s bootleg. I have the original one and it’s just perfect. It differs a lot from mine.

ahhh i see.well.. still even though kaiyodo’s poor performance here. i still want to buy that figure. but i guess this figure would be more better if it is a 1/8 scale. and produced by Max factory
